Dr Giannoulopoulos, a senior lecturer at Brunel Law School, reviewed the roles of the Serious Fraud Office and the Financial Conduct Authority – offering a contrast to recent developments in France, which include instituting a national prosecutor with jurisdiction on economic and financial crime.
The expert workshop was chaired by the Financial Prosecutor of France at the Cour de Cassation in Paris.
It took place during the prestigious Journées Internationales of the Société de législation comparée (SLC), which, on this occasion, also served to celebrate nearly 150 years of unique contributions to comparative law. (www.brunel.ac.u)
